Receiver, Quality & Inventory Specialist

The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Receiver, Quality & Inventory Specialist to join our team. This position plays a key role in the receiving process, quality control inspections, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, understands inventory systems, and takes pride in maintaining high-quality standards across all materials and products.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for quantity, quality, and compliance with specifications
• Identify and report any non-conformances or damages immediately
• Operate forklifts safely to move, organize, and store materials (Rough Terrain forklift experience preferred)
• Accurately log received goods and inspection results using basic data entry or ERP systems
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records
• Perform cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts
• Organize warehouse storage and labeling systems for efficient retrieval
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, cleanliness, and company procedures
• Communicate regularly with purchasing, production, and quality teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the department and organization
Skills and Requirements
• 2–4 years of experience in receiving, quality inspection, or inventory control
• Strong knowledge of inventory and quality control processes
• Forklift operation experience required (Rough Terrain preferred)
• Valid forklift certification is an asset
• Proficient in basic computer use and data entry; ERP system experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physically active work
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
