Pull Test – Withstanding Axial Load
This test simulates real-world axial forces that occur in bulk material handling applications to validate the durability of our patent-pending design.
Test Highlights:
✔ Withstood up to 3,200 lbf before end bell separation
✔ Performed in extreme cold at -35°C, withstanding 1,000 lbf
✔ Built with a one-piece end bell, engineered for strength and longevity
Radial Load Test – Exceeding CEMA Requirements
This test demonstrates the 31000 Series Idler’s ability to handle radial loads well beyond industry standards. By applying controlled downward force, we validate the structural strength of our idler design in demanding bulk handling conditions.

Conductivity Test – Ensuring Safe Static Discharge
In environments where dust and fine particles are present, static electricity can pose a serious explosion hazard. That’s why the 31000 Series Idler is equipped with a grounding wire to eliminate static buildup and improve operational safety.
Test Highlights:
✔ Measured Ground Resistance: Less than 5 ohms, meeting NFPA recommendations
✔ Complies with NFPA and NEC grounding standards
✔ Reduces static discharge risk in dust-prone and explosive environments
Water Submersion Test – Proving Sealing Integrity
Water ingress can compromise idler performance, shorten bearing life, and increase maintenance. To validate the sealing strength of the 31000 Series Idler, we conducted a long-term water submersion test to simulate harsh, moisture-rich environments.

✔ Half of an idler roll submerged in water for 30+ days
